I’m more of a photographer than a birder, however I’m getting a little more interested in the birds too. Last year, nearly every time I went to Huachuca Canyon someone would ask me if I’d seen the Sinaloa Wren yet. I always had to say no, because I initially didn’t even know what it was, or why I might want to see it. Then when I did some research and learned that it was extremely rare to see one in the United States, I started looking, but had no luck.
Well this morning I stopped by Huachuca Canyon for a little while after work. I didn’t even know the Sinaloa Wren was there again this year … until I almost stepped on it. Luckily it didn’t fly/hop too far away, and I was able to capture a couple of pictures. 🙂
